🛡️ How Recording Reliability Works

FadCam writes recordings in a hybrid MP4 format that balances crash safety with universal compatibility. This format is implemented through a custom patch of the Media3 library — the hybrid finalization and self-healing repair described below are FadCam-specific features, not part of the stock library:

1. While recording, the file is streamed as a fragmented MP4 — data is appended in small fragments with the metadata kept at the front. If the app or process dies at any moment, nothing already written is ever lost or corrupted. 2. On a clean stop, the file is finalized into a standard MP4 (a single moov metadata b
